Refund policy

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return eligible items within 15 days of delivery.

Returned items must be in their original condition. Unless we shipped the wrong product, made an error with your order, or the product arrived defective or damaged, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

For returns due to a change of mind, preference, or other reason unrelated to an error, defect, or damage, original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable. If the order received free shipping, the actual shipping cost paid by us to deliver the order will be deducted from the refund.

SLATE COASTERS

Natural slate can shed small flakes or particles during shipping, and it is common to find small pieces of slate inside the protective bubble wrap or packaging. This is a normal characteristic of natural slate and is not considered damage or a defect. However, coasters that arrive cracked, broken, or otherwise unusable will be considered damaged.

CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED ITEMS

Custom and personalized products are not returnable or refundable. We provide customers with an opportunity to review and approve custom designs before the finished product is shipped. Once approved and produced, the item cannot be returned unless we made an error in producing the approved design or the product arrives damaged or defective.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an incorrect, defective, or damaged product, please contact us so we can make it right. We may request photos of the product and packaging to verify the problem and determine the appropriate replacement or refund. 

STARTING A RETURN

To start a return, submit a return request through your customer account or contact us at sales@thehbcc.com. Returns must be approved before items are sent back.

We recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking. Customers are responsible for returned items until they are received by Coaster Depot.

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method for the eligible purchase amount, less any applicable original outbound shipping costs as described above.
